Cameron Covey is an Electrical Design Engineer at Varitec Solutions since October 2022, specializing in UL508a Industrial Control Panels and utilizing 2D AutoCAD for panel layouts. Previously, Cameron worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Advanced Mechanical Technologies, where skills included designing custom Industrial Water Booster Systems with Solidworks, creating electrical schematics using DraftSight, and knowledge of PLC programming. Prior experience as a Field Service Engineer at Advanced GPR involved applying problem-solving techniques for ground penetrating radar services. Earlier roles included Lead Administrative Assistant and Section Leader at the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University, demonstrating leadership skills and organizational abilities. Cameron holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University, earned in 2021.
