Gao Wenbao

aged 47, was appointed as an Executive Director and the Chairman in September 2018. Due to the term of office of Mr. Gao expired, he was re-appointed as an Executive Director and the Chairman in April 2019. Mr. Gao is the chairman of the Nomination Committee and a member of the Remuneration Committee of the Company.

Mr. Gao holds a doctor degree in microelectronics and solid-state electronics from Jilin University. Mr. Gao joined BOE since 2003. He worked as a deputy technical director, a production director and an executive deputy general manager of BOE, a local commander and a general manager of the 8.5th generation TFT-LCD production line in Chongqing, a project commander in chief of the 6th generation AMOLED production line in Chengdu, a senior vice president and etc of the BOE Group. Mr. Gao is a director and the president of the 10th board of directors, vice-chairman of the executive committee of BOE Technology Group, the chief executive officer of Display Business Group of BOE.
