Victor Balakine

Victor Balakine is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in DevOps and software engineering. Currently serving as a Senior DevOps & Build Engineer at Varjo since May 2023, Victor previously held the position of Build Automation Engineer at Yousician, where management of a Jenkins-based CI/CD environment and oversight of over 25,000 PR checks weekly were key responsibilities. At Best Buy Canada, Victor played a pivotal role in the adoption of MuleSoft, developing essential logging and error handling modules. Earlier experience includes roles as System Administrator and Support Specialist at The University of British Columbia, as well as Software Developer at Softdev Ltd. Victor holds a Master's degree in Mathematics from Ural State University named after A.M. Gorky.
