Chessa Nilsen

Chessa Nilsen currently serves as the Director of Global Production and Sustainability at Varner, a position held since October 2018, following a tenure as Global Production Manager. Prior to joining Varner, Chessa Nilsen worked at Dressmann AS from June 2007 to October 2018, progressing from Buyer to Senior Buyer and Sustainability Manager, focusing on a wide range of apparel while leading sustainability initiatives. Earlier in the career, Chessa Nilsen held various buying roles at H&M and contributed to costume design at TheatreWorks. Chessa Nilsen holds a Master of Fine Arts in Costume Design from Temple University and a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies - Literature from Scripps College.
