Espen Braastad

Espen Braastad is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in the field of caching solutions and system architecture. Currently serving as Chief Architect at Varnish Software since March 2014, Espen has played a crucial role in advancing the company's caching technology that enhances web and streaming capabilities for major content providers. Previously, Espen held the positions of VP Engineering and Senior Engineer at Varnish Software, including leadership of the Varnish API Engine. Earlier career experiences include roles as Team Leader and System Consultant at Redpill Linpro and Linpro AS. Espen holds a Master of Science in Network and System Administration from Oslo and Akershus University College and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Østfold University College.
