Currently serving as the Global Head of Projects and Engineering at VARO Energy, Jason Wood leads a team focused on the design, development, and construction of large-scale energy infrastructure. Previously, as General Manager of Maintenance and Reliability at Suncor, Jason Wood ensured safe and efficient operations of the Base Plant assets. Experience at Teck Resources Limited included managerial oversight of operational and maintenance activities, while a long tenure at Shell encompassed various leadership roles in plant operations and capital management. Early career positions at Irving Consumer Products, Nortel Networks, and Cisco Systems established Jason Wood's foundation in operations, project management, and manufacturing excellence. Jason Wood holds multiple certifications, including Project Management for Major/Complex Projects from the University of Georgia and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Nortel Networks/Flextronics.
