Asaf Brezler

Asaf Brezler is an accomplished software engineering leader with extensive experience in cloud security and application development. Currently serving as a Software Team Leader at Varonis since March 2025, Asaf leads a cloud security and platform team focused on designing global solutions for high availability and performance. Previously, Asaf held the role of Global Engineering Manager at Aqua Security, managing a distributed team of engineers and co-authoring a blog for AWS, showcasing expertise in core Cloud Security SaaS applications. Additional experience includes senior leadership and software development roles at CYMOTIVE Technologies, KayHut, and NVIDIA, with a solid foundation in cybersecurity and analytics from a background in Israeli Military Intelligence. Asaf holds an MBA and a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Bar-Ilan University.
