Shiming Chen

Shiming (Simon) Chen is a seasoned financial executive with extensive experience in accounting and investor relations. Currently serving as Chief Accounting Officer at Varsity Brands since June 2022, Shiming has previously held prominent roles including Vice President of Investor Relations and Treasury as well as VP and Corporate Controller at Forterra, Inc. from June 2017 to June 2022. Prior to that, Shiming held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at JP Energy from February 2013 to June 2017, and served as Assistant Controller at Energy Transfer from July 2009 to February 2013. Shiming's career began at PwC, where Shiming worked as a Senior Manager from December 1999 to July 2009.
