Katherine Garcia

Katherine Garcia has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries. Katherine started their career as a Jersey Specialist Intern at Alta Genetics Inc. in 2008 and then briefly worked as a Career Intern at the California Milk Advisory Board in 2009. Katherine then worked as a Dairy Assistant at California Polytechnic State University from 2005 to 2010. In 2011, they joined the American Jersey Cattle Association as an Advance Services Consultant, a role they held until 2015. Since 2015, Katherine has been working at VAS, initially as a Training Coordinator and later as a Junior Marketing Project Manager. In their current role, they act as a project manager, coordinating different teams and partners, tracking project milestones, and providing status reports. Katherine is responsible for creating and executing project work plans to meet changing needs and requirements.

Katherine Garcia attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2005 to 2010. Katherine completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Dairy Science & Agricultural Business and Management during this period.
