Seth Manwaring

Seth Manwaring has a strong background in product management and quality assurance, with experience in various industries. Seth is currently the Director of Product Management at VAS, where they have been since February 2023. Prior to this role, they were a Product Manager at VAS from October 2019 to February 2023.

Before joining VAS, Seth worked at American Airlines from December 2014 to August 2018 as the Manager of IT Quality Assurance. Seth was responsible for leading the QA Governance team and implementing standards for measuring and reporting quality metrics across software development teams. Seth also transformed business requirements into Lean Business Cases and provided coaching and motivation to their team.

Seth played a key role in mentoring their team during the company's Agile transformation and collaborated with customers to develop user stories. Seth also mentored peers in data analytics for better project progress assessment.

Before joining Sage, Seth worked at For The Record (FTR) from August 1998 to November 2002 as the Manager of North American Service and Support. Seth managed technical support services, created an automated online knowledge base, and oversaw internal information services.

At Corel Corporation, Seth worked as a Quality Assurance Specialist from December 1996 to July 1998. Seth pioneered the use of automated testing, exceeded the team average for bug reporting and fixing, and produced analytics for predicting customer call volume. Prior to this, they worked as a Priority Support Specialist from May 1995 to December 1996.

Seth Manwaring began their education in 1986 at Brigham Young University, where they studied Music Recording Technology. Seth completed their studies at this institution in 1990. In 1991, Seth enrolled at Utah Valley University to pursue Computer Science, which they completed in 1992.
