James Pope

James Pope is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in private equity and venture capital. Currently serving as a Senior Investment Analyst at Vasari Global Ltd since July 2020, James focuses on emerging markets within the fast-moving consumer goods sector. Previously, from June 2018 to October 2019, James worked as an Investment Analyst at Punakaiki Fund, specializing in New Zealand software and technology investments. Prior to that, James gained valuable experience as an Analyst at NZX Limited between February 2015 and June 2018, covering capital markets across equity, debt, and commodities. James holds a dual degree in Mathematics and Finance from the University of Otago, completed in 2014, and attended Wellington College from 2006 to 2010.
