Vascugen
Matthew George has worked at Vascugen since 2018. Matthew started as a Sr Scientist in June 2018 and then transitioned to the role of Assoc. Director R&D in June 2020. Prior to joining Vascugen, they worked as a Research Specialist at FUJIFILM Cellular Dynamics from January 2010 to August 2012.
Matthew George received their Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2005 to 2009. Matthew later pursued a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Developmental and Stem Cell Biology at the University of California, San Francisco from 2012 to 2018.

Vascugen is an induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) therapy company advancing its novel vasculogenic cell technology to develop and manufacture engineered vascular cells. Our vasculogenic cells have the potential to directly address ischemic disease conditions and to serve as a novel platform for delivery of therapeutic payloads in cardiovascular,solid tumor, and other indications. Vascugen’s research and development facility includes an integrated manufacturing facility for early-stage clinical manufacture of our products.
