Heather Mixon

Heather Mixon currently serves as the Director of Clinical Informatics at the Vascular Institute of Chattanooga since October 2016. Previously, Mixon held the position of Research Database Administrator at University Surgical Associates from April 2010 to September 2016, where responsibilities included the design and implementation of systems to manage clinical data for health outcomes research. Prior roles include consulting for the Colorado Department of Education, conducting compliance reviews for Child Nutrition Programs, and managing population health initiatives at the South Carolina Department of Health & Environmental Control. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Public Health & Human Nutrition from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and Exercise Science from Florida State University.
