Stephanie Spencer has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Stephanie started their career as a High School Mathematics Teacher in the Peninsula School District from 1990 to 2000. Stephanie then worked as a Research Assistant at C.J. Brown & Associates from 2004 to 2005. Stephanie also served as a Math Endorsement Coordinator and Adjunct Instructor at Antioch University Seattle from 2003 to 2005. Stephanie later joined C.J. Brown & Associates again as a Research Assistant/Project Coordinator from 2005 to 2006. Stephanie then joined Vashon Island School District, where they held multiple roles including High School Mathematics Teacher from 2000 to 2007, Curriculum Director from 2004 to 2007, Assistant Principal and Athletic Director from 2007 to 2015, and currently serving as the Director of Teaching and Learning from 2015 to present.

Stephanie Spencer attended Columbia University where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics. Stephanie then attended the University of Puget Sound, where they focused on Secondary Education and Teaching. Afterwards, they pursued further education at Seattle Pacific University, earning a Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Stephanie then went on to complete a Doctor of Education degree in Leadership from the same university. Additionally, they hold certifications including Human Resource Management, Continuing Administrator, Continuing Teacher Education, and Certified Athletic Administrator.
