Katie Hurley

Katie Hurley has had a varied work experience since 2014. Katie began as a waitress at River Cafe in 2014, then became a student at the University of Maine in 2015. In 2016, they worked as an Alumni Ambassador for CISabroad - Center for International Studies. In 2017, they worked as a Sales Associate for Good As New, and in 2018 they worked as a Teacher for TalksClub and a Receptionist for The Fairgrounds. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at the International Institute of Buffalo in various roles, including Interpreting Coodinator, Resettlement and Integration Case Manager, and Intern. Katie is currently working as an Operations Support for Vaspian.

Katie Hurley obtained their Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and Affairs from the University of Maine in 2019. In 2016, they studied Spanish Language at Universidad LCI Veritas. Additionally, they obtained the Global Perspectives Level 1 certification from Erin-Kate Sousa in February 2018 and the ACTFL Oral Proficiency Interview -- Intermediate-High certification from the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages in January 2018.
