Natalie Briffa Farrugia graduated in Psychology and Management studies in 1995 from the University of Malta. A year later, she read for her post-graduate certificate in Education and in 1999 graduated in Gerontology and Geriatrics from the European Centre of Gerontology at the University Of Malta. As part of her under-graduate studies, Natalie enjoyed part of her studies at Clarion University in Pennsylvania, USA.
Natalie’s extensive experience in the field of ageing and her passion to make a difference in peoples’ lives, coupled with her strong background in voluntary work, have helped strengthen the care philosophy with the Group, and has contributed towards enhancing the Group’s commitment to achieve the highest quality of care in the industry. Today, Natalie Briffa Farrugia holds the role of Chief Executive Officer of CareMalta Ltd., ensuring that the company’s vision consistently drive its decisions for the older community it serves.
She is a director at Vassallo Group Limited, LiveLife and HILA Limited. Between 2012 and 2015, Natalie served as Chairperson of the board of the European Association of Homes and Services for the Elderly (EAHSA) in Brussels, Belgium.
To date she serves as a member of the Council for the Malta Employers’ Association and is a board member of the Malta Community Chest Fund, a charitable institution chaired by the President Of Malta. One of Natalie’s higher goal in life is to help alleviate people’s sufferings and she does this through her commitment and active membership in the Living Waters Mission Team and Cenacolo Community.
