Christine Howlett is a distinguished music educator and director with a rich professional background in choral music. Currently serving as a Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities at Vassar College since 2003, Christine also co-directs MODfest, a contemporary arts festival. In addition, Christine is the Music Director for the Greenwich Choral Society and the Artistic Director for Cappella Festiva, overseeing various choral ensembles. Previous experience includes the role of Music Director at the Danbury Concert Chorus from 2011 to 2017. Christine holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Choral Conducting from Indiana University Bloomington, alongside a Master's in Early Music Voice Performance and a Bachelor's in Voice Performance from the University of Toronto.
