Emily Antenucci currently serves as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Italian at Vassar College since August 2022. Previously, Emily was a doctoral student and instructor at New York University from September 2016 to May 2022, where the dissertation focused on the intersection of Italian literature and feminist practices of rereading and reuse. As an instructor, Emily taught Italian language at all levels and courses on Italian culture, literature, film, and art history. Emily also worked as a Writing and Student Engagement Advisor, coaching graduate students and designing workshops for prospective PhD students. Earlier roles include a Client Services Associate at Academic Arrangements Abroad and an English Teaching Assistant at The U.S.-Italy Fulbright Commission. Emily holds a PhD and MA in Italian Studies from New York University and a BA in Drama and Italian Language and Culture from Vassar College.
