Natalie Nixon

Natalie Nixon, PhD is a creativity strategist and President of Figure 8 Thinking, LLC. She advises leaders on change management and consumer insights. Natalie helps them develop inventive thinking and achieve priority business goals, resulting in happier customers and employees. She applies her expertise in strategic foresight, qualitative research and design thinking.

Previously, Natalie was an entrepreneurial academic as Associate Professor and Founding Director of the Strategic Design MBA at Jefferson University. She began her career as a hat designer and later worked in global fashion sourcing for a division of The Limited. Over her career she has traveled and lived in numerous countries including Germany, Brazil, Portugal, Israel, and Sri Lanka, and is proficient in Portuguese and Spanish.

Natalie is a global speaker and a published author (Strategic Design Thinking and INC online). She earned her BA (Honors, Cum Laude) in Anthropology and Africana Studies from Vassar College and her PhD in Design Management from the University of Westminster. She lives in Philadelphia with her husband, John Nixon, an attorney.
