Susan Smith

Susan Smith is an experienced professional in career education and human resources, currently serving as the Associate Director for Employer Relations at Vassar College since October 2006. In this role, Susan develops strong relationships with students, employers, and alumnae/i, provides counseling across diverse interest areas, and coordinates recruitment events. Prior to Vassar College, Susan worked at Central Maine Power Company as Lead Advisor in Human Resources, where significant accomplishments included leading EEO training for over 1,100 employees and developing a Performance Management Program. Earlier, as Vice-President of Associate Services at Protegrity Services, Inc., Susan managed HR transitions and implemented vital policy changes. Susan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
