Prasad Putta

Prasad Putta has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Consultant at i2 Technologies Inc. from 1998 to 2000. In 1999, they founded Auripay and worked there until 2001. Prasad then founded OATSystems in 2000, a leading provider of RFID and IoT solutions with over 5000 deployments worldwide. Prasad worked closely with MIT in the development of RFID standards and eventually sold the company to Checkpoint Systems in 2014. At Checkpoint, they served as the VP & GM, managing the RFID and IoT business globally and contributing to a 400% growth in the RFID business. In the same year, 2014, Prasad founded Vassar Labs, a company that provides last mile visibility and decision support systems by leveraging various data sources such as IoT sensors, satellites, and crowd sourcing. Through proprietary AI algorithms, Vassar Labs offers actionable insights to its customers.

Prasad Putta completed their undergraduate studies in mechanical engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras from 1992 to 1996.
