Angel Lopez

Angel Lopez serves as the Director de Operaciones at VASS since January 2013, overseeing operations for projects at the company's Catalunya headquarters and reporting directly to upper management. Previously, Angel held the position of Manager Sector Público Catalunya, directing operations for public sector projects in Barcelona, including collaborations with institutions like the Generalitat de Catalunya and Universitat Oberta de Barcelona. Angel has extensive experience managing projects for the Generalitat de Catalunya, including the creation of the GECO+ platform for content management and various technology-driven initiatives. Prior to VASS, Angel worked at IECISA as Director de Proyecto GECO, at COSTAISA as a Systems Architect designing J2EE infrastructure, and at Expectra as Architect J2EE, contributing to notable projects with clients such as Sun Microsystems. Angel holds a degree in Computer Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, earned between 1993 and 2000.
