Alan Wax

Alan Wax is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the manufacturing sector. Currently serving as a Senior Manager of Machining at VAST since May 2023, Alan previously held various roles at Virgin Orbit from June 2017 to March 2023, including Staff Industrial Engineer and Machine Shop Supervisor. Alan's earlier career includes positions at RBC Bearings across multiple divisions, where responsibilities included Senior Manufacturing Project Engineer, Engineering Supervisor, and Lean Manufacturing Coordinator, spanning from June 2007 to June 2017. Academically, Alan holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Ohio University and several certifications, including a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from UCLA Extension and a Certificate in Manufacturing Engineering from UCLA. An undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology was obtained from the University of Hartford.
