Daniel Demattia

Daniel DeMattia currently serves as the Chief Information Officer at VAST since December 2023. Previously, Daniel held the position of Head of Security and IT at Reliable Robotics Corporation, where involvement included the design, implementation, and FAA certification of autonomous cargo aircraft, featuring a novel cryptographically authenticated command and control system. As VP of Security at Truepic Inc, Daniel was responsible for the secure development of a digital media authentication platform. In earlier roles, Daniel served as Senior Director of Operations at Virgin Orbit, overseeing information security for corporate and launch mission systems, and as Director of Security at Space Exploration Technologies, focusing on the protection of corporate assets and operational locations.
