Jimmy Nguyen

Jimmy Nguyen is a seasoned engineering professional specializing in avionics and software development. Currently serving as a Senior Avionics Test Software Engineer at VAST since June 2024, Jimmy previously worked as an Electrical Engineer at SpaceX and held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Epirus, focusing on instrumentation and hardware test automation. Prior experience includes roles as a Software Engineer at Moog Aircraft, where expertise was applied in developing Python test stand automation software and designing control systems, as well as an Electronics Test Intern at Moog. Jimmy's career began in the US Army as a Team Leader. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from California State University, Long Beach.
