Marcos Simon

Marcos Simon is an accomplished professional in the aerospace industry with extensive experience in flight safety and mission assurance, currently serving as Sr. Director of Flight Safety & Mission Assurance at VAST. Previously, Marcos held multiple roles at Blue Origin, including Sr. Manager of System Safety, Reliability, and Certification, Manager of System Safety, Reliability and Certification, and Reliability Engineer for Safety and Mission Assurance. Prior experience includes positions as Flight Reliability Engineer and Mission Assurance Intern at SpaceX, along with serving as Lead Project Engineer for the High Altitude Balloon Team at Penn Aerospace Club and as a Teacher at The Princeton Review. Marcos holds a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Aerospace from The University of Texas at Austin.
