Norberto Sánchez-Dichi

Norberto Sánchez-Dichi is a highly skilled engineer specializing in power electronics with extensive experience in the aerospace and freight industries. Currently serving as a Senior Power Electronics Design Engineer at VAST, Norberto develops avionics and power systems for an artificial-gravity human-rated space station. As the founder of AireFleet, a bonded freight corporation in California, Norberto manages freight-hauling operations. Previously, at Astranis, Norberto was the Program Lead and Electrical Engineer for power systems, overseeing the design and integration of space-compatible power distribution solutions. Prior roles include positions at Power Integrations, Maxim Integrated, Texas Instruments, St. Jude Medical, and California Polytechnic State University, where Norberto contributed to innovative design and technical training within power electronics and engineering applications. Norberto holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University and a certification in Modeling and Control Design of DC-DC Converters from Virginia Tech.
