Ting Yin

Ting Yin has four years of work experience. In 2021, they started working as a Staff Engineer at Vastai Technologies. Prior to that, they worked as a Design Engineer at Evertz from 2017 to 2021. In 2017, they also worked as a Teaching Assistant at McMaster University, where they provided one-on-one consultation to undergraduate students and mentored labs twice a week. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Visiting Student and Software Engineer at Wuhan Guoli Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd., where they designed test cases using C++ and Simulink to simulate power system security and stability experiments, wrote bug reports and managed log maintenance stuff, and assisted in working as an electric operator.

Ting Yin received a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering and Automation from Beijing Jiaotong University from 2011 to 2015. Ting then went on to pursue a Master of Applied Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering at McMaster University, which they completed in 2017.
