Christo Esterhuyse

Christo Esterhuyse is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in financial management and accounting. Currently serving as the Finance Manager at VASTech since January 2025, Christo previously held the position of Head of Finance and Administration at Southern Oil (Pty) Ltd from October 2017 to January 2025, where responsibilities included ensuring sound financial governance and internal controls. Prior roles include Divisional Finance Manager at Rhodes Food Group and Financial Accounting Specialist at Rio Tinto, among others. Christo's career began at PwC, where valuable skills were developed in auditing. Education includes a Chartered Accountant designation from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and various degrees focused on accounting and finance from Stellenbosch University and the University of Cape Town.
