Benita Kalyan Ca (SA)

Benita Kalyan CA(SA) has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Benita began their career at PwC US as a Senior Associate in December 2018, where they worked until March 2019. Following this, they joined PwC South Africa and held various roles, including Associate from January 2015 to December 2017, Senior Associate in the Reward department from an unknown start date to June 2018, Audit Manager from July 2018 to July 2021, and finally Senior Audit Manager from July 2021 to January 2022. Currently, they are working at VAT IT as a Finance Manager since February 2022 and recently transitioned to the role of Head of Treasury in April 2023.

Benita Kalyan CA(SA) completed their education at the University of the Witwatersrand. From 2011 to 2013, they earned a Bachelor of Accounting Science degree with a focus on Accounting. In 2014, they pursued further education at the same university and obtained a Higher Diploma in Accountancy, also in the field of Accounting. In March 2018, they obtained the Chartered Accountant (SA) certification from SAICA CA(SA).
