Ganeshwara Hananda has a diverse work experience in the technology field. Ganeshwara started their career at Fostrom in 2013 as a Lead Engineer, managing a team of two developers and working on website and web-application development using various technologies. Ganeshwara then joined Dropsuite in 2014 as a Scala Software Engineer, where they solved concurrency and distributed systems challenges and co-architected a distributed, multi-region backend architecture. In 2016, Ganeshwara joined noon as a Tech Lead, responsible for leading a team of 16 developers and building an e-commerce platform with a microservice architecture. Ganeshwara also worked closely with HR to improve the hiring process. Currently, Ganeshwara works at Vaticle as a Lead Engineer, where they are involved in the development of TypeDB, a powerful database with a strict type-system. Ganeshwara has also architected and led the development of TypeDB Cluster, a distributed database. Throughout their career, Ganeshwara has gained expertise in various programming languages and technologies such as Java, Scala, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, AngularJS, and PostgreSQL.
Ganeshwara Hananda received a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from Monash University in 2010 after studying Computer Science for three years. Later, from 2010 to 2012, Ganeshwara continued higher education at the University of Amsterdam, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Grid Computing. Additionally, Ganeshwara earned three certifications from Coursera: Data Manipulation at Scale: Systems and Algorithms in May 2016, Principles of Reactive Programming in June 2015, and Functional Programming Principles in Scala in December 2014.
