Mj Thomas

MJ Thomas currently serves as Vice President of Security, Compliance and Risk at Vatn Systems. Prior experience includes roles such as Senior Director of Corporate Intelligence & Insider Risk at General Dynamics and Director of Security at General Dynamics Bath Iron Works, where MJ managed security operations for defense contracts and collaborated with various governmental and law enforcement agencies. Prior to that, MJ was the FBI’s Senior Advisor to the Department of Defense, providing expertise on counterintelligence and cyber threats, and held multiple leadership positions within the FBI, including Section Chief and Assistant Special Agent in Charge. MJ's early career includes service as a K9 Handler in the State of Rhode Island Police and as a Captain in the United States Air Force. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science degree from Providence College and additional studies at Carnegie Mellon University.
