Carlton Hoyt has a long and varied work experience. In 2021, they began working at VatnFörn (deepwaters) as Senior Vice President Operations and Chief Of Staff. In 2022, they took on the role of Director at Beam Ads. Prior to that, they were Co-Founder & Chief Commercial Officer at Laboratory Supply Network from 2013-2020, Vice President, Marketing and Business Development at BioRelay from 2012-2013, Director of Business Development at Code-N from 2013-2011, Acting CEO at LifeSciSoft from 2011-2009, and Business Development Manager and Marketing Consultant at Next Advance from 2009-2011.

Carlton Hoyt obtained a B.E. in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Biochemical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology between 2000 and 2004. Carlton then went on to obtain an M.S. in Management (focus in Project Management) from Stevens Institute of Technology between 2005 and 2007. Finally, they obtained a Ph.D. in Biology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute between 2004 and 2008.
