Dr. Manas Khatre (Ph.D.

Dr. Manas Khatre is a seasoned professional in the offshore wind industry, currently serving as Lead Project Quality Manager at RWE and Vattenfall since May 2024 and March 2022, respectively. With a robust background in quality management, Dr. Khatre has previously worked as HV MV Engineer - GIS Specialist and Project Quality Manager at Ørsted, overseeing significant projects such as Hornsea 2 Offshore Wind Farm and contributing to design and quality assurance across multiple major UK and US projects. Before that, quality management roles were held at DONG Energy and Siemens Energy, applying expertise to various offshore wind projects. Dr. Khatre has also managed substantial budgets and led engineering efforts on projects including Gwynt y Môr and Greater Gabbard Wind Farms. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Power Electronics and Drives, an MSc in Electrical Power Engineering, and a BEng in Electrical Engineering.
