Jo Blackwell

Jo Blackwell is currently an Advanced Geotechnical Engineer at Vattenfall, where they focus on feasibility assessments and geotechnical site investigations within the Geoscience team. They have previously worked at Fugro, where they served as a Project Geotechnical Engineer and Engineering Geologist, and were involved in organizing masterclass courses at Imperial College London. Jo's early experience includes roles at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London, Silverstone Circuits Ltd, and John Lewis & Partners. They hold a Master of Science in Geology/Earth Science from the University of Southampton, achieved with First Class Honours. Jo actively promotes STEM and the offshore renewables industry through initiatives like the Vattenfall Work Experience Program in Hexham.
