Mathijs Franken

Mathijs Franken is a Project Manager at Vattenfall, focusing on improving the uptime of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations since January 2023. Previously, Mathijs served as a Technical Management Trainee at ENGIE, where a graduate program emphasized the energy sector and EV charging solutions. Mathijs contributed as a Board Member for Young Professionals ENGIE (NXT), establishing a platform for young employees, and worked as a Graduate Intern at Sweco researching shared e-mobility's impact on car use. An internship at Arup involved studying road pricing effects in Amsterdam-West, while a research internship at The Ocean Cleanup centered on designing structures to mitigate ocean plastic discharge.
