Roddy Douglas

Roddy Douglas is a seasoned Senior Automation Engineer at Vattenfall since April 2023, serving as the Technical Authority for Control Systems throughout the Substation lifecycle while also managing offshore wind automation products, including drones and robotic inspection technologies. Previously, Roddy's career at bp spanned nearly eight years, holding various roles such as Instrument and Control Engineer for CCS projects, Control Engineer focusing on innovative sectors, and Control and Instrumentation Engineer with significant international experience in gas facilities and LNG process control. Roddy began professional development with internships in instrumentation and protective systems, as well as environmental engineering roles. Roddy holds a 1st Class Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Chemical Engineering from Queen's University Belfast.
