Richard Weimer is currently working as a CCS Engineer at Vault 44.01, responsible for submittal of permits and detailed technical design. Prior to this, Richard worked as a Project Manager at Petrotek Corporation, overseeing project development for CCS projects. With a background in Petroleum Engineering from Colorado School of Mines, Richard has experience as an Operations Engineer at Helmerich & Payne and as a Project Analyst at Racca Solutions Group, LLC. Richard is also a Peer Mentor and a Lead Supervisor for Intramural and Club Sports at Colorado School of Mines.

Vault 44.01 is a highly experienced CCS project development team with unmatched expertise in non-EOR storage of CO₂. Our goal is to enable cost-effective, wholesale decarbonization of industrial emitters across North America through CCS. CCS is a proven, highly scalable decarbonization technology that provides a path to deep emissions reductions from large, stationary industrial emitters. CCS on high purity sources is commercially viable today, and is rapidly emerging on both lower purity sources and with Direct Air Capture.
