Adam Hill

Adam Hill has over 15 years of work experience in the field of information technology with a diverse range of roles. Adam started their career as a Windows Systems Engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton in 2006 and rose through the ranks to become the Systems Engineering and Operations Manager. In this role, they were responsible for managing multi-vendor server, storage, and data protection platforms across production, disaster recovery, and development & test environments.

In 2015, they moved to General Dynamics where they served as the Architecture and Engineering Lead. Adam led a team of subject matter experts providing architecture and engineering services for the SOCOM datacenter organization, including AD, PKI, Virtualization, Storage, Security, Exchange, SharePoint, and SQL. Adam was also a key participant in the data center relocation effort and evaluated requests for new applications or services, providing recommended architecture.

From 2017-2018, they worked at Cisco as a Cloud and Datacenter Consulting Engineer. Adam designed and implemented a federal Cloud Broker capability from the ground up, built orchestration to automate the deployment and provisioning of brokered consumers, and provided integration techniques for customer-owned private cloud instances.

In 2018, they moved to Symantec as a Solutions Architect where they provided technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, and installation and configuration of the company's products. Adam architected solutions to meet customer requirements and enabled customers and partners through deep dive discussions, product training, and certification programs.

Adam joined Microsoft in 2021 as a Principle Technical Specialist. In this role, they teamed up with sales teams to drive enhanced Security outcomes for customers while promoting the Microsoft value proposition. Adam supported pre-sales engagement supporting the Microsoft Security portfolio and led broad discussions such as Zero Trust, XDR, or Multi-Cloud Security, but was equally prepared to pivot into more technical domains like EPP, EDR, Identity Protection, or governing cloud applications.

In 2023, Adam joined Vaultree as a Senior Sales Engineer. No end date has been specified.

Adam Hill earned their Bachelor's Degree in Professional Health Education from SUNY Brockport between 1992 and 1998. Adam obtained three additional certifications including CCS from Cloud Security Alliance in January 2019, Microsoft Security Operations Specialist from Microsoft in March 2022, and Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon in August 2017.
