Kevin Curran

Kevin Curran has been working in the IT industry since 1988. Kevin started as a Software Developer at a number of IT companies and then became a Professor of Cyber Security at Ulster University in 1999. In 2018, they became the Editor of the Journal of British Blockchain Association (JBBA). In 2020, they co-founded Vaultree and in 2021, they became a Member & Investor at Cyber Club London.

Kevin Curran began their educational journey in 1982 when they attended St Pauls, Oughterard, Co Galway and obtained a University of ulster degree in Computing. Kevin then attended Atlantic Technological University from 1988 to 1990 and obtained a HND in Computer Science. From 1990 to 1996, Kevin attended Ulster University and obtained a BSc in Computer Science. Kevin then stayed at Ulster University from 1996 to 2002, where they obtained a BSC and a PhD in Computer Science. Finally, from 2002 to 2004, Kevin obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computer Science from Ulster University.
