Paulius Šukys

Paulius Šukys has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Paulius started their career in 2013 as a Junior Software Engineer in Test at Bentley Systems, where they worked until 2015. In 2014, they also completed an internship at UAB Elinta. Paulius then joined Kaunas University of Technology as a Technician from 2013 to 2015. In 2015, they returned to Bentley Systems as a Software Engineer and worked until 2015.

In 2016, Paulius joined the TUM - Engineering Risk Analysis Group and the Max Planck Institute for Social Law and Social Policy as a Research Assistant. Paulius held both positions concurrently until 2017. In the same year, they joined Clyso GmbH as a Cloud Engineer and worked until 2018. Most recently, Paulius has been working at Vaultspeed as a Senior Software Engineer since June 2019.

Paulius Šukys has a diverse education history, with a strong focus on informatics and computer science. Paulius'sformal education began with a Bilingual International Baccalaureate diploma from Šiauliai Didždvaris gymnasium, which they obtained from 1999 to 2011.

After completing their Baccalaureate diploma, Paulius pursued a Bachelor's degree in Informatics Engineering at Kaunas University of Technology from 2011 to 2015. During this time, they also obtained a Diploma in Computer Science from the School for young computer scientists from 2008 to 2010.

Building on their undergraduate studies, Paulius went on to earn a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Informatics from Technical University of Munich from 2015 to 2018. Throughout their education, Paulius has demonstrated their dedication to continuing their professional development by obtaining various certifications.

These certifications include Cloud Architecture: Advanced Concepts, DevOps Foundations: Continuous Delivery/Continuous Integration, and Programming Foundations: Software Quality Assurance from LinkedIn, which they obtained in September 2018. Additionally, they achieved a Practical Tasks for Networking and Security certification from D-Link in June 2014.

In terms of language proficiency, Paulius obtained a Duolingo English Fluency certification at a proficient level in October 2015 and a Duolingo German Fluency certification at an elementary level, also in October 2015.
