David Helfinstein

David Helfinstein has extensive experience in IT leadership and consulting roles. David currently holds the position of Senior Director Enterprise Systems IT at Vaxcyte. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Enterprise Technology & Infrastructure at 23andMe. David also worked as a Principal Consultant at Helfinstein Consulting, where they specialized in IT enterprise applications. Other notable positions include Senior Program Manager - Consultant at Genomic Health, IT Executive Consultant at Omnicell, and Director of Business Systems at EVault. In addition, they worked as an IT Executive Consultant at Helfinstein Consulting and as the Director of Global IT Applications at Phoenix Technologies. Earlier in their career, they served as the CIO at Brightlink Networks and held the position of Director of Enterprise Applications at Bay Networks/Nortel Networks.

David Helfinstein completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at California State University, Northridge from 1982 to 1986. David later pursued their MBA at San Jose State University from 1989 to 1991.
