Lucy Ding is an engineer with extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, currently serving as Engineer II at Vaxcyte since February 2024. Previously, Lucy held various roles at Alector from February 2022 to March 2024, including Associate Scientist and Senior Research Associate, and worked at Bayer as a Senior Development Research Associate from April 2019 to February 2022. In these positions, Lucy contributed to process characterization, small-scale development, and large-scale manufacturing, while successfully establishing BSL-2 laboratories and training personnel. Earlier career experiences include roles at bioLytical Laboratories, Qu Biologics Inc., Sofina Foods Inc., Virgin Mobile Canada, and Pet Food N More. Lucy holds a Bachelor of Science with a minor in Commerce and Biochemistry from The University of British Columbia.
