Rick st. John

Rick St. John is an experienced professional in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Executive Director of Protein Development and Clinical Manufacturing at Vaxcyte since April 2021. Prior to this role, Rick held various leadership positions at Genentech from June 2007 to April 2021, including Director of Digital Sciences and Director of Process Development Engineering, where Rick made significant contributions to digital transformation and process innovations in biologics development. Rick’s career also includes roles at Nuvelo, Novartis AG, and Chiron Corp, focusing on scientific research and development. Rick holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
