Andrew Robertson

Head of Vaccine Project Management at Vaxxas

Andrew Robertson has extensive work experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Andrew currently serves as the Head of Vaccine Project Management at Vaxxas since August 2021. Prior to that, Andrew worked as a Biopharmaceutical Consultant in 2020 and as a Project Manager at AnteoTech from September 2020 to March 2022. Before joining AnteoTech, they were a Project Manager at Trajan Scientific and Medical from August 2016 to June 2020.

Andrew also has experience as a Senior Scientist/Study Director at CPR Pharma Services Pty Ltd, where they focused on immunoassay method development and validation for nonclinical and clinical studies. Andrew worked at CPR Pharma Services from October 2015 to August 2016.

Earlier in their career, Andrew held the position of Manager, Analytical Development at Hospira from April 2007 to September 2015. In this role, they provided leadership in the development and validation of analytical methods for biosimilars and therapeutic protein conjugates.

Andrew's work experience also includes roles as a Research and Development Manager at AroTec Diagnostics Ltd. from 1999 to 2007 and as a Research Scientist at Industrial Research Ltd from 1994 to 1999.

Andrew Robertson has a strong educational background in the field of science. Andrew obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from UCL from 1985 to 1988. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree in Neuroscience at the University of London from 1989 to 1990. Later on, they continued their education at Massey University, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Biochemistry and Immunology, completing their studies from 2001 to 2006. Additionally, there is mention of their involvement in a program called CSIRO ON Prime, although specific details regarding its duration and degree obtained are unavailable.
