Pierre LEMAIRE

Pierre LEMAIRE has a diverse work experience in the field of medical device and process engineering. Pierre started their career at the University of Rochester as a trainee in the biosensor team, where they worked on the development of a biosensor capable of sensing different molecules or solvents. Pierre then joined Philips Innovation Services as a trainee in the molecular medicine sector, focusing on the optimization of patterned porous membranes for miniaturized flow over protein microarrays.

After that, they worked at INPG/ENSERG/IMEP-LAHC as part of their Master's degree in Nanotech, where they gained skills in nanotechnology and completed their thesis. Pierre then joined Debiotech SA as a Junior Research and Development Engineer, where they validated a thick-film technology for designing micro-heaters. Pierre later became a Research and Development Engineer, where they worked on the design and development of a pain-free microneedle drug injection device.

Pierre's most recent role was at Vaxxas, where they served as the Team Lead for Device Development. In this role, they led the development of combination medical devices, focusing on the integration of medical devices and process engineering.

Pierre Lemaire has a diverse education history. Pierre began their education in Lisbon, Portugal, at Lycée Français Charles Lepierre, where they completed their high school education and obtained a Scientific "Baccalauréat" with honors from 1990 to 2002.

After completing high school, Pierre pursued their higher education at Lycée Privé Post-Bac Saliège in Toulouse, France, from 2002 to 2005. During this time, they completed the first two years of their Bachelor's degree while attending an intensive preparatory class for Engineering School. Moving forward, Pierre embarked on an International Master's Degree in Nano and Micro Technologies with a specialization in BioNano/MicroTech. Pierre pursued this degree simultaneously at three prestigious institutions. From 2006 to 2008, they attended Grenoble INP - UGA, Politecnico di Torino, and EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne). These three universities collectively provided him with a comprehensive education in their field of interest.
