Scott Fry

Scott Fry has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Scott currently works at Vaxxas as the Chief Operating Officer since March 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at Ellume for almost nine years, from January 2013 to March 2022. Before transitioning to the healthcare industry, Scott worked as a GP Sales Representative at Mundipharma from January 2012 to January 2013. Scott also had experience in the field of assay development as an Assay Development Scientist at The University of Queensland from January 2011 to January 2012. Additionally, Scott held positions at Alere Inc. as an R&D Team Leader from June 2009 to January 2011, at Inverness Medical Innovations Australia as an R&D Senior Scientist from 2008 to 2009, and at Panbio Ltd as a Research Scientist from 2005 to 2008. Scott started their career as a Senior Research Scientist in Molecular Biology from January 2002 to January 2004. Scott's early work experience includes roles as a Demonstrator at The University of Southern Queensland Faculty of Sciences from January 2000 to January 2003, and as a Research Assistant at The University of Southern Queensland from January 2000 to January 2001.

Scott Fry attended the University of Southern Queensland from 1999 to 2006, where they pursued their undergraduate studies. Scott then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Molecular Microbiology and Immunology. Scott continued their education at the same university, obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree.
