Nitish Srivastava

Nitish Srivastava has diverse work experience in the field of machine learning and robotics. Nitish is currently serving as the Co-Founder and CTO of Vayu Robotics since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Apple, where they held the positions of Staff Research Scientist - Machine Learning from November 2018 to February 2022, and Staff ML Engineer from February 2017 to November 2018. Nitish also pursued their education at the University of Toronto, where they worked as a Graduate Student from September 2011 to February 2017. Additionally, Nitish co-founded Clarevision Research, which was later acquired by Apple, and served as a Co-Founder from February 2015 to September 2016. Nitish gained valuable research experience as a Research Intern at Google in 2013 and 2012. Moreover, Nitish worked as an Intern at Microsoft Research Silicon Valley in 2010 and at Ecole Centrale Paris in 2009.

Nitish Srivastava pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with their schooling at Delhi Public School - R. K. Puram from 2005 to 2007. Following this, they attended the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, where they obtained a BTech degree in Computer Science from 2007 to 2011. Continuing their academic journey, Nitish joined the University of Toronto, where they completed an MS in Computer Science from 2011 to 2013. Finally, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at the same university, specializing in Machine Learning, from 2013 to 2016.
