Tomoki Naya

Tomoki Naya is a senior engineer at Vayyar Imaging since January 2023, with prior experience as an ADAS (radar) engineer and fuel cell researcher at Bosch Japan from April 2019 to January 2023. Tomoki's career includes a role as a senior engineer focused on electronic blasting and IoT monitoring at Orica and as a technical consultant for environment and nuclear power generation at JAPAN NUS. A military officer with the Japan Ground Self Defense Force from April 2001 to November 2015, Tomoki held positions including tank platoon leader and vehicle R&D. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in solid rocket propellants, explosives, and pyrotechnics from the National Defense Academy of Japan, a Master of Science (M.S.) in fuel cells and energy mineral engineering from Penn State University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in electrical, electronics, and communications engineering from the National Defense Academy of Japan.
