Gerben Rochat (CITM)

Gerben Rochat has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Gerben started their career as an Accountmanager at PresTop Informatiezuilen, Touchscreens and Touchcomputers in 2007. From there, they worked as a Sales Consultant at PINS managed hosting from 2008 to 2010. Gerben then joined KPN as an IT Executive Sales from 2010 to 2012 and later became a Senior Executive from 2013 to 2015.

In 2015, Gerben transitioned to Ictivity where they held various roles. Gerben started as the Head of Business Development from 2015 to 2018, responsible for driving innovation, growth, and leading the pre-sales department. From 2018 to 2019, they extended their responsibilities and became the Head of Business Development, Product Management, Architecture & Innovation. In this role, they led innovation, creation of new IT services, and provided chain responsibilities for Managed Services. Gerben also led the architecture, products, and services teams as a member of the management team.

Currently, Gerben is the Head of IT at VB Groep, a position they have held since 2020. No end date has been specified for this role yet.

Gerben Rochat pursued their education with a focus on executive leadership and commercial economics. Gerben first attended the KPN Academy - High Potential Leadership Program from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained a degree in High Potential Leadership Program with a field of study in executive leadership. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Commercial Economics from Hogeschool Leiden, which they attended from 2003 to 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Gerben Rochat has also obtained several certifications. Gerben received the Certified Information Technology Manager (CITM) certification from EXIN in August 2022. In September 2020, they obtained the ITIL v4 Foundation certification from PeopleCert. Furthermore, they earned the IBM Top Gun certification from IBM in July 2012, and the ITIL v3 Foundation certification from EXIN your ICT competence partner in May 2012.
